The Translation Tool in PDF Expert helps you instantly understand any document written in a foreign language without ever leaving the app. It provides quick, clear translations right inside your PDF, making reading, studying, and collaborating across languages effortless.
What is the Translation Tool?
This feature is based on the Apple Translation API, allowing you to translate the entire text of your file within the app.
We currently support 21 languages for translation, as approved and supported by Apple: English (US/UK), Ukrainian, Russian, Vietnamese, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Chinese (Traditional/Simplified), Korean, German, Japanese, Indonesian, Dutch, French, Thai, Spanish (Spain), Turkish, Polish, Arabic, and Hindi.
Due to system restrictions and the lack of Translation API support on other operating systems, this feature is available only on iOS 26, macOS Sequoia, and macOS Tahoe.
