Setting up your company as a Super Admin

If you're setting up PDF Expert Business Manager for your team, this article walks you through registering the company, provisioning licenses, and inviting your teammates.

Prerequisites

• You'll need an email address to use as the Super Admin — this becomes the master account that owns the subscription
• A valid payment method for checkout
• Approximate number of licenses (seats) you need — you can add or remove seats anytime after setup

Step 1 - Register your company

1. Go to the PDF Expert Business Manager.
2. Sign up with your email: this becomes the master account that owns the subscription.
3. Fill in your company name, billing address, and the number of seats you need.
4. Complete checkout. Your subscription is now active.

Step 2 - Set up your team

You'll add people to your company through the Admin Panel — either as Members (who use PDF Expert on their devices) or as Admins (who help you manage the team).

Invite Members

1. In the Business Manager, go to the Members tab.
2. Click Invite Members.
3. Enter their email address. They'll receive an invitation email.
4. Point them to the Joining your team as a Member - they'll need it to install the app and activate their license.

 Invite an Admin

Admins help manage the team - they can invite Members, manage licenses, and update company settings. Super Admins can do everything an Admin can, plus manage other Admins and cancel the subscription.

1. In the Admin Panel, go to the Admins tab.
2. Click Invite Admins.
3. Enter their email address. They'll receive an invitation email.
4. If they should be a Super Admin, promote them via the ⋯ menu after they accept.

Grant membership to Admins and Super Admins (including yourself)

To let an Admin or Super Admin use PDF Expert on their devices, you need to grant them membership. This consumes one license seat and unlocks Premium features for their account.

1. In the Admin Panel, go to the Admins tab.
2. Find their row (or your own), click the ⋯ menu, and select Grant Membership.
3. This consumes one license seat and lets them sign in to PDF Expert with their admin email.
4. Point them to Joining your team as a Member so they can install PDF Expert and activate their license on their devices.
