    The difference between PDF Expert 2 and PDF Expert 3

    Currently, there exist two versions of PDF Expert: 

    • PDF Expert 2 is our previous app version that can be used on Mac only and is provided with a license code. If you own this version of the app, you can retrieve your license code here. 
    • PDF Expert 3 is our latest version of the app that comes in two payment plans: a yearly cross-platform subscription that can be used on both iOS and macOS platforms and a lifetime version that is a one-time payment and can be used on Mac only. No license is needed for PDF Expert 3 since it works with accounts. You can see the available plans on our website.

    If you already own PDF Expert 2, you can activate your license code in PDF Expert 3 and thus unlock the features of PDF Expert 2 without an extra fee. All the information on how PDF Expert 3 can be installed, activated, and used across platforms, as well as the description of our discount offers, are gathered here.

    If you haven't updated your PDF Expert 2 to the newest version yet, you can find all the information on billing and licenses here.
