Since the main aim of PDF Expert is to facilitate your workflow with various documents, we have several file-sharing options. Some of them are already built-in, and you will see them once you launch the app. Among the first folders you’ll see is the Files folder.
What is Files?
We want to ensure that you have access to all your files while working in PDF Expert, so we have a folder containing all the data you store in your Apple Files app.
Files is a file management app developed by Apple for devices that run iOS 11 and later or iPadOS. We’ve included a special Files folder to our app to make a sort of a shortcut for you - you can have access to all the data stored on your device without having to switch between apps.
Using the Files folder
The Files folder is available for you by default at the very first launch.
This is what you can do within the Files folder:
- See the Recents, browse them, and open them in the PDF Expert viewer
- Use search and apply sorting options to your files in this folder
- See the files and folders that are shared with you in the Files app
- Use Browse to get access to all locations in the Files app
- Tap and hold on any file in this folder to copy, share, duplicate, apply Quick Actions, and more
