This feature allows you to save web links directly in Documents, making it easier to keep track of important online resources and access them whenever you need them These links are opened in a special preview mode, enabling you to open them in a browser, share them, or take specific actions based on the link type. Sharing files via links is a quick, efficient, and secure way to collaborate while reducing email clutter.
You can add links to Documents via two entry points: Extension and Browser.
If you want to save a link from another app:
- Select the needed website URL in the app you’re using.
- Select the Share option.
- Tap Save to Documents.
- Alternatively, tap Open in Place (the app’s icon) to enter the Extension.

You can also find the feature in our Documents browser:
- Launch Documents.
- Open the Browser tab.
- Browse to the website link you want to save in Documents.
- Tap the three dots icon in the upper right corner.
- Select Save as Link.
- The link will get saved to your Inbox in Documents.
Each link has its own Actions menu and context menu.
The Actions menu will offer you the tools you could apply to this type of a file according to its format. The context menu will offer you to Reload Link if needed, but please ensure an Internet connection for this action.
