There are a few steps that can be taken if the music starts skipping:
- Open Documents Settings > Security > disable the iOS Data Protection toggle. If it was off, please enable it > reboot your device > disable it again.
- Please check whether the audio player is set to shuffle mode. To do so, please tap any track to activate the media player > tap the player tab at the bottom, then tap the Shuffle button to disable it if it is enabled (it looks like two interwoven arrows).
- Check if the affected files can be played in the Files app.
- Check what sites you use to download music - are the files also affected in the system browser?
- Check if the issue happens only to the new files.
