There is no option in Spark to change the advanced settings for an email account you added manually. These settings include server, ports, and type of protection. You or your network administrator can change them on the web page of your email server.
If the advanced settings have changed and you are experiencing issues with this account in Spark, please follow the steps below.
First, remove this account from Spark:
- Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
- Choose Accounts.
- Select the needed account and click on the minus sign at the bottom.
Note: Removing your account from Spark won’t delete your emails as they are saved on the email server of your provider
Add this account again with the new settings:
- Click Spark > Add Account > Set Up Account Manually > Additional Settings.
- Fill out the new settings here and click Add.
First, remove this account from Spark:
- Tap the menu icon at the top left.
- Open Settings > Mail Accounts.
- Choose the account you want to delete, scroll to the bottom and tap Remove Account.

Add this account again with the new settings:
- Open Settings > Mail Accounts > Add Account > Set Up Account Manually.
- Enter your email and password and choose Open Advanced Settings.
- Fill out the new settings here and tap Log In.
First, remove this account from Spark:
- Tap the menu icon at the top left.
- Open Settings > Mail Accounts.
- Choose the account you want to delete, scroll to the bottom and tap Remove Account.
Note: Removing your account from Spark won’t delete your emails as they are saved on the email server of your provider
Add this account again with the new settings:
- Open Settings > Mail Accounts > Add Account > Other.
- Enter your email and password and choose Additional Settings.
- Fill out the new settings here and tap Sign In.
