Microsoft OneNote is an easy-to-use note-taking and information management program that helps users capture ideas and information in different digital formats. With Spark Classic & OneNote integration it’s easy to turn emails into notes right from the app - learn how to do it below.
Connect OneNote to Spark
- Open an email and click More on the toolbar at the top > Add Service.
- Select OneNote and click Connect.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.
Or:
- Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
- Select Settings.
- Go to the Services tab.
- Choose OneNote and click Connect.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.
Note: Connected Services don't sync between devices. If you want to use OneNote with Spark on several devices, please add this service separately to each of them.
Turn an email into a task
- Open the email needed.
- Click More on the toolbar at the top and select OneNote.
- By default, the Subject of the email is offered as the card’s title. Click on the title to change it.
- Choose export options: an Email or PDF. The first option will export the body of the email and the second one will add a PDF copy to the note.
- Tick ‘include attachment’ if needed.
- Select the Notebook and Section for this note.
- Optionally, Add remark. It will appear under the title of the note.
- Click Save at the top right.
Remove a connected service
- Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
- Select Settings > Services.
- Under Connected Services, click OneNote.
- Select Log Out at the bottom right.
