Quick access to tools makes all the difference when you're short on time. In Scanner Pro, the Tools tab puts everything you need right up front, so you can get started the moment you open the app.
How to use Tools
When you launch Scanner Pro for the first time, you get a few options to start from:
- Plus icon - to start scanning right away.
- Gallery icon - to use a photo from your Photo Library.
- Tools - to get quick access to our top features.
Once you tap the Tools icon, you’ll get several options to start from, which are divided into four categories:
Create
- Folder - creates a new folder for you.
- Scan - starts scanning immediately.
- Fax - you can create a scan and send it via Fax.
- Expense Report - captures key information from your receipts.
Scan
- Scan Book - helps you scan a two-page document.
- Scan Text - works as OCR and recognizes the text for you.
- Scan Code - scans QR codes specifically.
Export
- To Word - converts your scan into a Word document.
- To Image - converts your scan into a JPEG.
- To PowerPoint - converts your scan into a .pptx slide/file.
- To Text - converts your scan into a .txt file.
Import
- Import Files - allows you to import your files from your Files app. You can tap Import Files > Browse > select any location from the Files app.
- Import Photos - imports the images from your Photo Library.
