    Create a folder

    You can group related scans into distinct folders in the Scanner Pro app to quickly find what you need and stay organized. This article explains three different ways how to create folders in Scanner Pro.

    Note: Currently, there isn’t an option to create subfolders in Scanner Pro.

    Use the "Create a folder" button

    1. Open Scanner Pro and tap the Create a folder button.
    2. Enter a name for the folder.
    3. Tap Done.

    An empty folder will appear in the My Scans section. You can now move the needed scans into the folder or take new ones.

    Quickly group multiple scans into a new folder

    You can quickly create a folder of items from the My Scans section.

    1. Open Scanner Pro and tap Select at the top right.
    2. Select all the items you want to group into a folder.
    3. Tap Moveat the bottom, then the iconat the top right.
    4. Enter a name for the folder, then tap Create. 
    5. Tap the newly created folder, then the Move button at the bottom right.

    That’s it! A new folder with the scans you selected will appear in the My Scans section.

    Tip: You can also merge related scans into a multi-page scan. To do so, select the scans you’d like to merge and tap the Merge button at the bottom.
    1. Open Scanner Pro and tap Select at the top right.
    2. Select all the items you want to group into a folder.
    3. Tapat the top left, then the iconat the top right.
    4. Enter a name for the folder, then tap Create. 
    5. Tap the newly created folder, then the Move button at the bottom right.

    That’s it! A new folder with the scans you selected will appear in the My Scans section.

    Tip: You can also merge related scans into a multi-page scan. To do so, select the scans you’d like to merge and tap the Merge buttonat the top left.

    Drag one file over another

    You can drag one scan over another - a new folder with these scans inside will be created. 

    1. Touch and hold the needed scan until it lifts up.
    2. Drag it over another scan to create a folder.
    3. Enter a name for the folder, then tap Done.

    Creating subfolders

    Currently, there isn’t an option to create subfolders in Scanner Pro. However, if you need this feature, our team is glad to hear your feedback.
