Syncing calendars across devices is an essential part of making your Calendars experience as seamless and efficient as possible. The key to syncing your events across devices is ensuring you have an identical account set up in Calendars on all devices. This article covers the most common scenarios.
To sync your events between iPhone and iPad:
- Open Calendars on both devices > go to Settings.
- Check that all accounts match between the devices in the Accounts section at the very top of Settings — these are the accounts connected directly to the Calendars app.
- Open the Calendars from iPhone/iPad tab and make sure everything matches there — these are accounts connected to Calendars locally, using the Apple Calendar app as an intermediary.
- If you notice that one of the calendars is missing on one of the devices, you can easily connect it to your Local Calendar (the Apple Calendar app) by following the steps in this Apple article.
- Go to the Default Calendar tab and confirm that the same calendar is selected as the default on both devices.
