Calendars by Readdle allows you and your team to join Zoom meetings right from the app. Create an event, add a Conference Call, and join the meeting when the time has come—all in Calendars.
Connect Zoom or GoToMeeting to Calendars
- Open Calendars for Mac.
- Use the ⌘, shortcut (press and hold ⌘ and press , ). Alternatively, click Calendars in the Menu Bar at the top > Preferences.
- Scroll down and click Services.
- Click Sign In next to the service of your choice and follow the on-screen instructions. That's it!
Create an event with a Video Call
- Open the Calendar section on the sidebar.
- Click the plus icon at the top right.
- Type a short event description and press Enter.
- In the Event Editing dialog, click Add Attendee and enter the email addresses of people you want to invite.
- Click Video Call and select the service of your choice.
- Make sure all the needed settings of the dialog are finished and click Save at the bottom.
Add a Conference Call to an existing future event
- Open Calendars by Readdle.
- Click an event you want to add a Conference Call to.
- Click Edit at the bottom left of the dialog.
- Click Add Attendee and enter the email addresses of people you want to invite.
- Click Video Call and select the service of your choice.
- Make sure all the needed settings of the dialog are finished and click Save at the bottom.
Join the GoToMeeting or Zoom meeting through Spark
- Open Calendars by Readdle.
- Click an event needed and follow the link.
Remove a connected service
- Open Calendars for Mac.
- Use the ⌘, shortcut (press and hold ⌘ and press , ). Alternatively, click Calendars in the Menu Bar at the top > Preferences.
- Scroll down and click Services.
- Select Log Out next to the needed service.
Integration with Zoom is available in Calendars version 5.18 or later. If Calendars hasn’t updated automatically, please open the App Store app > type ‘Calendars by Readdle’ in the search field > tap Update.
Connect Zoom to Calendars by Readdle
- Tap the menu icon at the top left.
- Open Settings > Services and select Zoom.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.
Or:
- Open Calendars and tap the plus icon at the upper right corner of the screen.
- Tap Show Details > Video Call and select Zoom.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.
Connected Services don't sync between devices. If you want to use Zoom with Calendars on several devices, please add this service separately to each of them.
Create an event with a Video Call
- Open Calendars and tap the plus icon at the upper right corner of the screen.
- Type a short event description and set the time.
- Tap Show Details > Video Call and select Zoom.
- Make sure all the needed settings are finished and tap Save at the top right.
- In a pop-up menu, tap Send to invite the added people to the meeting.
Add a Conference Call to an existing future event
- Tap at an event you want to add a Conference Call to.
- Select Edit > Video Call > Zoom.
- Make sure all the needed settings are finished and tap Save at the top right.
- In a pop-up menu, tap Send to invite added people to the meeting.
Join the Zoom meeting through Calendars by Readdle
- Launch Calendars and tap at an event needed.
- Follow the Zoom link in the event’s description.
Remove a connected service
- Tap the menu icon at the top left.
- Open Settings > Services.
- Tap Zoom > Yes, Sign out.
Uninstall Calendars by Readdle from your Zoom account
- Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace and sign in.
- Tap the menu icon at the top right and select Manage.
- In the Installed section, tap Uninstall near the Calendars by Readdle app icon
Troubleshooting
If you’re experiencing any issues with Zoom integration in Calendars by Readdle, please make sure you have Calendars version 5.18 or later installed. Then, try to log out and log in back to Zoom through Calendars by removing the service and connecting it again. If the situation hasn’t been resolved, please contact our support team - we are happy to help you personally:
