If it happens that your widgets won’t update or load (appear blank or black), here are the steps to resolve the matter.
- Please perform a force restart on your device. This action will update all settings and may resolve temporary glitches. Follow the instructions for your device here.
- Try deleting and re-adding the widget to see if that resolves the issue:
- Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar (two sliders icon) or swipe left with two fingers from the right edge of the trackpad.
- Click Edit Widgets at the bottom of the Widgets panel.
- Find Calendars in the list of available widgets.
- Click the + icon next to the widget to add it to your Notification Center.
- Use the options to customize the widget size and position, then click Done to save your changes.
After restarting your device, try deleting and re-adding the widget to see if that resolves the issue. Here’s how to do it:
Home Screen Widget:
- Long press any empty area on your Home screen.
- Tap the + icon at the top left corner.
- Locate and select Calendars from the list.
- Choose your preferred widget size.
- Tap Done to place the widget on your Home screen.
Lock Screen Widget:
- Press and hold your Lock Screen until the Customise button appears, then tap Customise.
- Select Lock Screen.
- Tap Add Widgets, then find Calendars in the list.
- Tap or drag the widgets you want to add to the Lock Screen.
- Tap the close button, then tap Done to finalize.
