To create a new task, follow the steps below:
Create tasks from the Tasks tab at the top
- Open Calendars for Mac.
- Click the Tasks tab at the top.
- Click the needed color in the My List section on the sidebar.
- Click + to add a new task.
Create color-coded tasks from the Day, Week, or Month tab at the top
- Open Calendars for Mac.
- Under the Plans tab, click +.
- Drag&drop to your calendar.
- Tap Tasks at the top.
- Tap + in the upper-right corner.
- You can assign a Due date, Reminder, and Recurring order and add a Description to the task.
- Alternatively, in any view, tap and hold on the empty calendar space and start the title with Space. The event will turn into a task.
You can create or set a task for Today by adding a star to it. Once the star is added, the task will appear on the current date every day, unless you remove the star or complete it.
You may also reschedule tasks in the Week and Month View by dragging & dropping them.
