To sync Calendars with a Google account tap Google Calendar when launching Calendars for the first time.
Then, enter your Google account credentials and allow Calendars access to Google Calendar events.
You can also sync Calendars with your Google Calendar any time, regardless of the option you've selected at the first launch.
To do this:
- Open the Calendars app.
- Click Calendars in the Menu Bar at the top.
- Select Settings > + Add account button.
- Click Google and follow the onscreen instructions.
- Tap the gear icon.
- Select Connect to Google Calendar and log in with your Google account credentials.
All the changes applied to Calendars will appear in Google Calendar in 5 seconds, depending on the internet connection speed.
- after tapping Sync your Calendars button under the Settings menu
- immediately after launching the app
- immediately after calling the app out from the background in case more than 5 minutes after the last sync has passed

How to connect multiple Google accounts
The Calendars app allows adding multiple Google accounts both ways: directly and via Local Calendars.
To add multiple Google accounts to the app directly, follow these steps:
- Open Calendars > Menu icon > Settings.
- Tap Add Account > Google and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Repeat these steps for all your Google accounts.
To add multiple Google accounts to the app via Local Calendars, follow these steps:
- Open iOS Settings > Calendar > Accounts.
- Tap Add Account > Google and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Open Calendars > Menu icon > Settings > Local Calendars.
- Enable the Display Local Calendars toggle.
- Enable your Google accounts’ toggles.
