In Spark for Android, you can create shortcuts (ex-widgets) to quickly access the folders or options you use the most. For example, if you often check the Pins folder, add a shortcut to open it right from your inbox or your phone menu.
Note: To access shortcuts from the phone menu, tap and hold the Spark icon.
Add shortcuts
On Android devices, Spark can show shortcuts either at the top or the bottom of the screen. The top position offers a one-tap access to your shortcuts. To see widgets at the bottom, tap the More icon at the bottom right.
Note: You can add 1 shortcut to the top or up to 4 shortcuts to the bottom.
- Tap the menu icon
at the top left.
- Tap Settings
at the bottom.
- Open Personalization > Shortcuts.
- Select one of the options in the Shortcuts Position section.
- In the Items section, tap Add Shortcut. Some options like Pins and Attachments, allow you to choose the accounts to use with this shortcut. For example, you can create a shortcut for attachments only from your work account. Select the accounts and tap the plus sign at the top right.
Remove shortcuts
- Tap the menu icon
at the top left.
- Tap Settings
at the bottom.
- Open Personalization > Shortcuts.
- In the Items section, tap Edit
.
- Tap the minus sign near the shortcut you want to remove.
Currently, there is no option to sync shortcuts between Android devices, but we might consider adding this feature in the future.
